Srijit's 'Uma'

Rajonna Das,Kolkata: Uma is an upcoming Indian Bengali drama film directed by Srijit Mukherji under the banner of SVF Entertainment pvt. Ltd.

Starring Jisshu sengupta , Sara Sengupta , Zara Sengupta , Anjan Dutt , Sayantika Banerjee and Rudranil Ghosh.
This film is produced by Shrikant Mohta and Mahendra Soni. Its written by Srijit Mukherji and Screenplayed by him only. Its edited by Pronoy Dasgupta. In this film music is given by Anupam Roy and Neel Dutt.

In this movie Prosenjit chatterjee , Dev , Nusrat Jahan and Mimi Chakraborty will have special appearances but it has not been confirmed yet.
The song of Uma "Hariye Jawar Gaan" sang by Anupam Roy will melt your heart. He performed brilliantly in this movie.
The plot is based on true event surrounding the life and death of Evan Leversage who lived in St. George in Ontario , Canada.
We all know that Sara Sengupta Jisshu Sengupta's elder daughter is all set for her debut in Srijit Mukherji's film Uma. It is a known fact that Sara will be seen in the titular role in this film. But Jisshu Sengupta's younger daughter Zara Sengupta will play in this film as little Uma.

This film is already been officially selected for this year's New York Indian Film Festival and London Indian Film Festival.
The Srijit Mukherji's directorial has been inspired by the story of Canadian boy Evan Leversage who died of cancer in 2015.
Uma is all about a young girl suffering from a terminal disease , a father who is finding it difficult to fulfill his daughter's wish and a struggling director haunted by past.
This film is based on a true story. Its budget is below 4.00 cr. It will be released on 8th June 2018.

According to my point of view this film is going to be a superhit bengali movie. Tollywood really want this types of movies. My opinion to my audiences is to go and watch this movie in the theatres. According to me this movie is full of  emotions. All the good actors and actresses are working hard for this film.
People will surely loved this movie. So I would suggest everybody to go and watch this film in the theatres in the next year.
