The Best Gaming Beast under 60,000 INR

We finally have a White & Blue gaming laptop. This is the Dell G7, looks like a refreshed update of the old Dell 7577 laptop. So we can also call it Part of the older Inspiron.

This laptops hold the latest Intel Hexa-Core processors, discrete NVIDIA GeForce graphics, full HD screens and crystal-clear audio powered by Waves Maxx Audio Pro for stunning and visual delight for any gaming fanatics. The design of the laptops is game-centric and hence, every nook and corner designed accordingly is ecstatic.
There are no major changes done design wise for Dell gaming laptops. Dell G7 15 series holds same simple yet elegant design. There is blue backlit colour on keyboard and trackpad which is different from traditional laptops.
Now let’s go a bit in more detail about the different kinds of specifications.

Hardware and Performance

Dell G7 15 7588 hold one of the top-end hardware configurations for an ultimate gaming experience. There are two models in this series and both models hold same hardware configurations primarily. The Hard Disk and RAM size differ on both models.
In the heart, there is 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8750H 6-Core Processor up to 3.9 GHz with turbo boost technology on both versions of G7 series. There are two memory options provided 8GB or 16GB DDR4 RAM which can get upgraded up to 32 GB. The storage is also massive for both models, one model provides you 256GB of Solid State Drive while other gives you 1 TB of Hard Disk Drive + 128 GB of Solid State Drive.
In terms of the memory storage, Dell gives really a good combination with the RAM and SSD. This should help to gather more boot up speeds, which can allow the user to breathe in the fresh air.

Graphics Card and Port Selection

Both models possess NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card with NVIDIA Max Q Design technology backed up with 6GB of dedicated video memory. The screen size is same 15.6-inch full HD IPS Anti-Glare LED Backlit display. Both models get 3 Super speed USB 3.1 ports, 1 Thunderbolt 3 port, and one noble lock slot.
The keyboard and trackpad with blue illumination look decent. The keyboard is spill-resistant and built with reinforcement multiple layers. The trackpad is big enough for the comfort of the palms. Both models have 15.32” of width and weigh 2.63 Kgs on the whole. There is Bluetooth 5.0 for Bluetooth connection with other systems plus 802.11ac for 2.4 & 5 GHz of dual-band data transfer.
Well, according to me I feel that the port selection is decent. The weight is a bit more compared to the other laptops, but since it’s a gaming laptop, 2.6 Kgs should be not a big issue I guess.

Display and Sound

The NVIDIA graphics card delivers fascinating image quality and provides you intense and real gaming experience overall. You can get detailed picture quality with 6GB of GDDR5 dedicated video memory. The screen size of 15.6” is perfect for gaming solutions. There is stunning clarity provided thorough 4K Ultra HD display option. With anti-glare screen, you can get the wider range of viewing angles with superior comfort.
The sound is crystal clear with the combination of Waves Maxx Audio Pro and Smart byte. With vivid graphics and superb sound quality, you can feel theatre like experience at home.
The presence of 6 GB graphics card is a big plus point of this laptop. This one just nailed it in terms of display with the gigantic graphics out reach. The audio quality is disappointing though. They just went with the old one and thus the sound is average.

Final Thoughts

Finally the price, isn’t it??
That’s all that matters for us. While Dell is yet to reveal the India price and availability of these machines the company has said the Dell G7 15 is "available now in US, China, and Europe" via its website and Best Buy in the US with a starting price of$850 (around Rs. 55,300). So we get it around 60,000 INR.
It is considered to be a cheap laptop by its specs in this price segment. I believe that Dell is doing really a good job out there in the market. If you have a budget of 60k INR and you want a gaming laptop, I suppose this is the best choice out there. The best part I like about the laptop is the NVDIA 6GB DDR5 Graphics Card.
