Indian Cook arrested for leaking information to ISI

The Uttarakhand police, the Anti-Terror Squad of UP and the military agency have worked together to arrest Ramesh Singh from Pithoragarh. He had worked in the house of an Indian diplomat to Pakistan as a cook. He was arrested for sharing important information with the ISI.

Ramesh Singh had allegedly bugged the diplomat's house to siphon off sensivitive information contained in a diary and documents to the ISI. He was offered the job of a cook in Pakistan in 2015. He was present there till september 2017. During this time he came in touch with the ISI. He had an unresolved debt of 8 lacs for which he agreed to do the heinous act. His older brother also worked with the Indian Army.
On wednesday he was produced in the Pithogarah Court and then taken to Lucknow on remand.
