YOUTHQUAKE! At Apeejay Kolkata Literary Festival 2019

Apeejay Kolkata Literary Festival 2019 presented  a debate session on a very social topic of YOUTHQUAKE!  "Are students movements all fire no change?"

The Big Debate session was held at the Oxford Bookstores, Parkstreet on 27th of April 2018.

There were total six participants with equal number participant speaking `for` and `against` the motion i.e. 3:3. For judging the debate session there came Atasi Ghosh, lawyer practising at the Calcutta High Court and Prof. Sharbari Saha, Director Aspiring Persona, Institute for Corporate Training and Personality Development.

The very objective of the debate was - Are students movements at all effect the social scenario of the our today's world or just all of them arises with a great enthusiasm and then all goes in vain? Does students movements at all matter? Youth is the hope of new change, but are they bringing that change? Our country today needs good leaders but are students capable enough to lead the whole whole country or just their leadership ends as the movement stops? With all these in mind the debate continued.

And the winners were Aindrila Das speaking against the motion and Sourav Chunder speaking for the motion.
