FASTRACK REFLEX VS LENOVO SMART BAND HW01


This has been a pending topic for quite some time now. One often hears of smart watches and iwatches but the two models discussed in this blog have become popular recently. The main reason for the popularity of these products is that they are fitness devices as well. How can someone say no to a device that monitors and guides him or her about healthy habits, in addition to displaying time and other alerts?
Smart watches may be replacing normal watches but their use will never become obsolete or redundant. A brief discussion and comparison is listed below. The models considered are Fastrack Reflex and Lenovo Smart Band HW01.

FASTRACK REFLEX


Fastrack Reflex has a fitness band, charging cable, warranty card and user manual. The model is named “Reflex”. It tracks various parameters related to health such as Calories Intake Burned, Activity/ Inactivity, Distance travelled, Sleep quality, number of minutes remained active for, number of steps taken and number of hours slept. It has sensors like Accelerometer and Pedometer. For syncing purposes, it can sync to v4.0, BLE but does not incorporate USB connectivity. It has been designed in a manner that enables the changing of straps. There is a touch interface and digital clock face. A rectangular and flat shape provides an elegant look to the gadget. The model is available in colours like Black, Pink and Purple. There is an OLED display, touch screen feature, and compatibility with Android v4.4 iOS. Battery is charged via USB and battery life is up to 7 days. A host of other additional features include alarm clock, reminders, social integration, timer, presence of incoming call alert and text message alert on the connected smartphone.

LENOVO SMART BAND HW01



As for Lenovo Smart Band HW01, many characteristics are similar as well as different. It has a smart band, charging unit, and user manual. The model is named “Smart Band HW01”. It tracks various parameters related to health such as Calories Intake Burned, Activity/ Inactivity, Distance travelled, Sleep quality, number of minutes remained active for, number of steps taken and number of hours slept. It has sensors like Accelerometer and Pedometer. For syncing purposes, it can sync to v4.2 but does not incorporate USB connectivity. In terms of designthe option of changing the straps is not present. There is a touch interface and digital clock face. A rectangular and curved shape gives aclassic look to the gadget. The model is available in Black colour only. There is an OLED display, touch screen feature, and compatibility with Android v4.4 iOS. Battery is charged via USB and battery life is up to 5 days. Other additional features include alarm clock, reminders, timer, presence of incoming call alert and text message alert on the connected smartphone.
